“Every stage is a new chance to tell the story — bigger lights, bigger crowds, same soul.” – Aaron Page
There’s something about conversations like this that remind you why storytelling matters. Behind every beat, every lyric, and every stage light, there’s a story of persistence — of someone daring to chase what sets their soul on fire.
When I sat down with Aaron Page inside the media tent, fresh off his performance on the BMI Stage, I didn’t just meet an R&B artist. I met a visionary — someone blending nostalgia with something entirely his own. His music lives in that space between reflection and rhythm, where truth meets groove.
Aaron spoke about love, faith, and the kind of vulnerability that makes music timeless. There was no façade, no pretense — just a creator who believes that real connection happens when you let people feel you.
It’s artists like Aaron who remind us that success isn’t just about reaching the big stages — though he’s already eyeing the American Express and Miller Lite stages for next year — it’s about staying true to the sound of your soul while the world is still learning to hear it.

The afternoon hum of Austin City Limits Music Festival buzzed beyond the white walls of the media tent. Cameras clicked, fans cheered, and just outside, the echo of a bassline from the BMI Stage lingered.
Singer-songwriter Aaron Page had just finished performing — still charged from the stage, a mix of adrenaline and calm confidence radiating from him.
We sat at a high-top table surrounded by the soft chaos of other media teams and artists. The energy was alive, but when Aaron started to speak, the noise faded. It became a space of reflection — the kind of stillness where stories come alive.
From New Haven to Houston: A Journey of Duality
I asked Aaron about his journey — from the quiet streets of New Haven, Connecticut, to the vibrant heartbeat of Houston, Texas — and how that shift shaped his sound.
Aaron Page: “New Haven gave me reflection — quiet, space, introspection. Houston gave me fire. The city moves differently — it’s rhythm, culture, and heartbeat all in one. That mix created RnBass — nostalgic R&B with new-age bass and flow.”
“It’s a sound that lets me live in both worlds — emotion and rhythm, reflection and fire.”
Influences that Built the Sound
Aaron’s artistry is rooted in balance — between classic soul and modern storytelling.
Aaron: “Michael Jackson taught me to feel through melody. Drake showed me how to be honest, even when it’s uncomfortable. Together, that became my foundation — the showmanship of one, the confessional truth of the other.”
You can hear both in his tone — a crooner’s soul wrapped in a modern heartbeat.
The Breakout Moment: Lord Knows
When his 2024 single “Lord Knows” began circulating on playlists, everything changed.
Aaron: “That song came from pain and faith. I never expected it to take off — then one day, I got a text from a friend saying, ‘You’re on the radio.’ That moment hit me hard. I realized this is where I belong.”
Since then, Aaron has released several singles throughout 2025 — each one expanding his world and refining his sound.
Romance in Music: The Art of Vulnerability
I asked him about the romantic undertones that seem to run through every track he releases.
He paused for a moment, fingers tracing the edge of the table before answering.
Aaron: “Romance isn’t just love songs. It’s truth. It’s patience, it’s vulnerability, it’s the silence between two people who understand each other. Every song I write has a heartbeat — and I want listeners to hear themselves in it.”
“Romance is honesty. It’s vulnerability. It’s not just about relationships — it’s about how you show up.”
Eyes on the Future: Dreaming Bigger
Fresh from the BMI Stage, Aaron’s focus is already on what’s next.
Aaron: “I’m grateful for every moment here. Performing on the BMI Stage was a blessing — but next year? I’m coming for the big ones. The American Express Stage. The Miller Lite Stage. I can see it.”
He smiled, eyes gleaming with quiet ambition.
“Every stage is a new chance to tell the story — bigger lights, bigger crowds, same soul.”
Closing Reflections
As the sounds of ACL swelled outside, Aaron leaned back, soaking it all in.
Aaron: “My dream is simple — to make people feel something real. Whether it’s 200 people or 20,000, the emotion should always be the same.”
When our conversation ended, I stepped out into the Texas sun, the air still buzzing from his performance. Aaron Page’s music doesn’t just play — it lingers. It’s romance, rhythm, and realness woven into sound.
